Hi, I'm Tommy, a photographer with a BA (Hons) degree in Photography from Arts University Bournemouth. My background in fine art photography has shaped the way I see the world, teaching me to look beyond simply documenting a scene and instead create images with atmosphere, emotion and purpose. Today, I bring that same creative approach into the commercial world, producing contemporary photography that feels authentic, engaging and true to the people and businesses I work with.
While my work spans weddings, food and commercial photography, I've always been most passionate about photographing people. Whether it's capturing genuine emotion on a wedding day, creating natural portraits, or documenting chefs and teams at work, I enjoy telling stories through human connection. I believe the best images come from making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, allowing their personality to shine through rather than relying on overly posed or artificial moments.
Living and working in London has allowed me to collaborate with a diverse range of restaurants, brands and creatives. Working in such a fast-paced city has taught me to adapt quickly, understand different audiences and create imagery that not only looks beautiful but also has a clear purpose. From photographing restaurants during busy service to creating editorial-inspired portraits, I've developed an appreciation for balancing creativity with the practical needs of a business.
My style is modern, natural and understated. I prefer subtle editing, natural light wherever possible, and creating photographs that feel genuine rather than overproduced. Influenced by both fine art and editorial photography, I aim to produce images that are visually striking while remaining honest to the people, places and moments they represent.
For me, photography is about building relationships as much as creating photographs.
